Dont Quit

Sometimes life is determined to knock us down...repeatedly. This reminded me today that no matter what cards we are dealt, no matter how many trials we face and no matter how excruciating the pain is, we must never give up. OMY. really just want to skip New Years Eve this year and be done with it. Ready for Friday! NEw Year...BRING IT!!! (Good Things, Please!!! PLEASE PLEASE!! Good things only!!! )

Let's Give Happy a Shot...My first post e.v.e.r!!!

2009 and really the last several years have been really tumultuous, crazy, amazing, heartbreaking, scary, enlightening, years but somewhere in the last few years, the negatives have seemed to far outweigh the positives. This needs to change. i have lost my spunky, fun, positive self and i need to find her again. So I'm going to give this whole happy list a shot.


Things that make me terribly happy:

1.music especially if accompanied by brilliant lyrics. im a lyrical junkie.
2. photography. black and white. color. vintage. all of it
3. art. i long to have the creative mind to paint spectacular things but lack the talent. boo!
4. my guitar. even if i just wear it out to get the mail and pretend i am a rock star. it makes me feel like one. and i WILL some day be a ROCK STAR
5. the start of a new season or a new year
6. worn hardwood floors in old houses
7. how lovely i feel wearing a pretty dresss and heels
8.the sound of a single acoustic guitar or piano accompanied by a remarkable vocalist/lyricist
9. Coming home and cooking/baking with my momma
10. Wedding pictures
11.Dancing for no reason at all
12. clean sheets on the bed
13. falling asleep to a thunderstorm
14. sushi and wine nights
15. Candid photos
