Missing the Old Days...Nostalgia is a pain in the ASS.

So, living in this place, it's really hard to keep the eye on the prize. It's so miserable here being away from Dallas, my home, my family, friends and my dogchild, Rowdy. I know this nursing degree will be so worth it in the end and i just have to keep reminding myself that this is temporary. There is so much down the road to be excited about.

I'm down to 6 weeks of my second semester of nursing school. 3 more after that, i will be a RN. I will be an official grown up with a real grown up job. kinda scares the hell out of me. but i have time to put off the fear :)and i will be BANKING (hopefully) and taking care of sweet little babies and sending them home with mommy and daddy!! what a great job!!!!!

umm on a brighter note, i would like to introduce everyone to the love of my life.

He is the epitamy of "right timing." Rowdy came into our lives August 24th, 2009. He is a rescue dog and was found at a Walmart in Rowlett, tied by his neck to a swing set. :( Our neighbor took him in and was determined to find him a good home. She knew how sad my mom was with me going away for school. Despite her vow "to never get a dog again," it was love at first side. Since then, he has stolen every person he meets heart. He truly is the bright spot in my otherwise, dull existence. haha He is my dog child and I cant imagine my life with out him in it!
